Disruption can be a political term, as in the case of many governments today, but this term can apply to our conversion of thought as well. Prior to accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior, we were lost. Our sin nature was its strongest, however, when we accepted Christ, we were saved and in essence born again. Our past was disrupted by our conversion.

Praise God that we have been freed from the shackles of sin. We will live in sin as long as we are on this earth, it’s our sin nature, but as Christians, we can be redeemed if we repent, ask for forgiveness, and continue to grow in the Word. Our God is a God of many chances, in fact, Christ said we should forgive as many as seventy times seven times.  This means we are to forgive as often as is necessary. We must forgive as God forgave us, wiping the slate clean.

As we grow as Christians applying the Word to our daily lives, we will feel the shackles loosen and then fall away. The process of disruption, in this case, is freeing.

It is time that we disrupt and shed our practices, habits, and secular lifestyles to become more like Christ. When we do, we will be moved to protect our neighbors, love all people friend, and foe, and create a universal environment of love, tolerance, and acceptance.

This is a new day and a new beginning. Carpe Diem, seize the day.
