The heart holds your feelings for others and self. A cold heart is removed from relationships with others. Your intentions are exposed through a callous heart. Similarly, if you are living according to the characteristics of Christ, your heart will illuminate its glow.

There is more to this Scripture, while we can glean our own intents, this verse speaks to our ability to discern another’s countenance, the hearts of those similar to our own.

“Who we are will eventually be evident to others as our words and actions reveal our heart.”
