Hello Everyone, We Begin With Wisdom!

Wisdom means having good judgment. Sometimes we act before wisdom sets in. Before we act, we should go to God and seek wisdom. He is generous and will give it to you.

Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. Proverbs 4:7 NLT

It’s best to be silent for a few moments commune with God and then act accordingly. Seeking wisdom should be our daily practice. Having good judgment takes practice. It is easy for our carnal man to jump first, act prematurely and regret the outcome.

This year let us seek wisdom in all that we do, major and minor, large and small. Every thought will come into captivity if we do.

The thought continues…

I love that God not only provides a way, but also the light we need to meet our purpose and call. When the light dims it is generally because we are wearing opaque lenses. His Word always sheds light in the midst of darkness.

Learning His Word guarantees light, sometimes in the form of a single star in the night skies, other times like a full moon shining on the earth, The glimmer or rays of light through cloudy skies, or midday beaming on the earth. His light will break through all constraints.

Standing still and repeating mishaps is not an option for Christians. God provided clear access to Him through prayer. I plan to minimally reduce two of Satan’s shackles, fear and worry. Join me this year. Seek God’s peace in 2019. Not my resolution, my resolve for the year. Putting in the effort, loving the result.

No Resolutions, Only Resolve

It’s New Years Eve. We already shed our old selves in the spirit. Today shed your human frailties/captivity and live as God planned you to live. No resolutions, only resolve in 2019.

Begin with, I resolve to become more like Christ, put myself last (scripture says the last will become first), serve others, love all people-abhor only their behavior, and walk down the path God has paved for me.

According to the command of Scripture, today is the Lord’s Day, a day to worship God. Even though most brothers and sisters are under the supervision and control of community authorities at their homes, and more than a dozen brothers, sisters, pastors, and preachers are in prison, those brothers and sisters who can still freely leave their homes went to our church sanctuary in the Jiangxin Building as usual to prepare to meet the Lord.

The metal gate below the building where the church is was locked, and every entrance had many plainclothes police officers and SWAT team officers preventing people from entering the church. They took away some of the brothers and sisters. Brothers and sisters then conducted a small-scale worship meeting at a nearby park, which was also shut down by police. Police took away more than 30 brothers and sisters.
