We know the WORD OF GOD, but we fail to apply it in our daily lives. It is our manna and our Salvation. Intimacy is the key to our relationship with the Lord. The Word lives!

We know the WORD OF GOD, but we fail to apply it in our daily lives. It is our manna and our Salvation. Intimacy is the key to our relationship with the Lord. The Word lives!

I’m so happy I will never use up my mercies because they are renewed daily.🙂
What are mercies? According to Bible Study Tools. Mercy is an intrinsic quality of the nature of God. His mercy cannot be exhausted like mans. It is the foundation of his covenant with Christians.
God promises to protect, provide, guide, and is continuously present in our lives. Because he is the initiator, his mercy is gracious, unmerited and undeserved. Mercy is linked to forgiveness.
Mercy is the foundation of our Salvation and is excuted in and through the resurrection of Christ.
We cannot exhaust his love or his mercy. Mercy forgives and liberates those who have no right to such a blessing.
For us, mercy is a characteristic of life in Gods kingdom power.
Mercy is linked to kindness, compassion and forgiveness, discussed in a recent Post.
We should jump up and down – our mercy is renewed every day without notification or request. It just is!

We are told to be kind, compassionate and forgiving on a secular level. On a spiritual level, God commands us to be kind and compassionate and to forgive. But in a world plagued with hate, violence, and uncertainty, the atmosphere is contaminated. Satan is causing depression, oppression, and more.
God knew what we would go through and gave us the 91st Psalm. We should include it in our prayer requests for protection.
We must fight off the plague. We have to live Gods’ Commandment to be kind, compassionate and to forgive. To accomplish this task, we must stay in prayer to break through the darkness.
Good must overtake evil. Light must overtake the darkness.
God has called us to be set apart. We are in this world but not of this world. We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 NIV
We are part of God’s plan. Now is the time to act as God’s ambassadors and his disciples.
So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32 ESV
When have been set free. We are no longer bound by Satan’s evil ways. We are free to be kind and compassionate to all and we are free to forgive.
Remember, these characteristics (of Christ) are not an option for Christians, they are commandments that govern our lives.

God saved us and planned our journey before he created the world. It’s a journey because we travel through all types of terrain. Journeys take us to our destination. Journeys entail travel plans.
We all fall short, experience disappointment, and enjoy success, but we need to keep it in perspective. It is a journey, it is temporal, and some day when it is over, we’ll be in heaven with our father.
Remember, IT’S A JOURNEY!
He called us to be a Holy people, set apart to do his will. Look beyond the moment. It will pass. When we look back we will see it is all a gift.

We are a chosen people. We are God’s very own possession. We can show the goodness of God to others because he called us out of the darkness into his light.
God called us out of the darkness and Satan works to return us there. He challenges us daily, working to break us by subjecting us to double-mindedness,
rejection, self-pity, self-delusion, self-deception, self-seduction, unteachableness, depression, despondency, disappear, discouragement, hopelessness, perfection, pride, vanity, ego, intolerance, frustration, impatience, timidity, selfishness, bitterness, possessiveness, hatred, resentment, unforgiveness, anger, distrust, fear, persecution, and confrontation.
Stand fast in the face of difficulties. Hold on to the Word, and settle into the light.
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”
1 Corinthians 16:13 NASB

God breathed life into us. He created us in his own likeness. He gave us Free-Will and saved us from sin through the sacrifice of His Son. He loves us when we conform to his will and his way, and when we stray. He loves us!

How then can we hold back love from others? Love is not a commodity to be traded for goods, services, and kindness. Love is a gift to be given freely with no expectation of return.
The Christian definitions of LOVE confirm that it is a gift from God, and in turn should be a gift from us to others. It is not a practice or a choice, it is a commandment. Love seeks the welfare of all, those you are in agreement with, those you oppose, those who mean you harm, those who ‘have your back’, those in the group of mankind that you have no relationship or knowledge of. Love is a blanket that warms the earth and changes the outcome of hate that infects the world and causes chaos and derision brought on my Satan. Love is the remedy to many ills, beginning with you. It frees you from hate, intolerance, anxiety, and strife. It removes the boundaries or restrictions that once held you hostage. Love is enlivened through obedience. And, through our obedience, Love strengthens our relationship with the Lord.
Love is an intentional act. When we feel oppressed, angered, or mistreated, we should purposely replace those feelings with love. Why? Love is not a feeling but an action. It is the power God gave us when he sacrificed His son. Love is the way we move from feelings to obedience, to dependence, to freedom, and our relationship with our Father, our Lord, and Savior.

Clarifying Bible Definitions of Love
Love is a deep enduring concern for others’ welfare; affection, friendship (Gen. 37:3; Matt. 5:46). An essential characteristic of God that comes only as a gift (John 3:16).
Christian love has God for its primary object and expresses itself first of all in implicit obedience to His commandments, (John 14:15, 21, 23; 15-10; John 2:5; 5:3; 2 John 6.)
Christian love, whether exercised toward the brethren, or toward men generally, is not an impulse or a feeling, it does not always run with the natural inclinations, nor does it spend itself only upon those for whom some affinity is discovered. Love seeks the welfare of all, Rom. 15:2, and works no ill on any, 13:8-10; love seeks the opportunity to do good to ‘all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith,’ Gal. 6:10.
